Worship at Lester Memorial UMC is diverse. From the beautiful sounds of a pipe organ in our traditional service, to the upbeat rhythm of drums and guitar in another service, we speak many worship languages as we seek to share the gospel with authenticity and relevance.
-pertaining to time-honored orthodox traditions-
If you feel most connected to God in a setting that employs liturgy, beautiful choral music, traditional hymns with accompaniment on the pipe organ or piano, you will be at home in the traditional worship service. Join us Sunday morning beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
*If you are unable to attend in person, join us LIVE on OTELCO Channel 70 or WCRL 95.3 FM/1570 AM*
-being without ceremony or formality; relaxed-
Our casual worship service offers a chance to worship in a relaxed atmosphere with a group of your closest friends. The music featured in this service blends today's modern hits with your favorite camp songs from years gone by. Come early and grab a cup of coffee and stick around after the service for a time of refreshments and fellowship.
Join us Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
-avant garde; eperiential-
9:02 is a contemplative service of experiential worship and self examination on Sunday mornings at 9:02 a.m. in the REFUGE. The lighting in this service is darker and makes use of many candles in order to provide a unique worship space for those wanting to seek the Lord. If you enjoy quieter music with the opportunity to worship God in your own, unique way, then this service is for you. 9:02 is based from scripture
"The people who walked in darkness
Have seen a great light;
Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death,
Upon them a light has shined."
